Photography is my passion. I enjoy the challenge of making the best possible pictures, even in challenging circumstances. I spend a great deal of my spare time hiking, scrambling, climbing, camping, kayaking and generally adventuring. I love to photograph in the great outdoors. Working with nature to get that 'perfect shot' has taught me patience and a wealth of technical skills that I can bring to the subjects that you're looking to capture.
I value the importance of what I do and the sentiment a picture can hold. Whether that's creating pictures of your pets doing the things they love, or family pictures to look back on and smile at for many years to come. I cherish the opportunity to be such an integral component to capturing these memories
I'm also sympathetic to the commercial and personal benefit of great pictures. Maybe you have products that you're looking to market and you need some outstanding images to attract your audience. Are you model or brand ambassador and you need some fantastic pictures for your portfolio. Perhaps you're the member or organiser of a sports team or event and you'd like high quality action photography of your team doing what they do best. Or maybe you have a hobby that you'd love to photograph and be able to look back on.
I appreciate that there isn't a 'one size fits all' approach to anything within the creative world, with different circumstances requiring different levels of services and skills. No matter what you're looking for, I will work with you in the pursuit of creating that perfect shot. I am more than happy to provide competitive quotations. If you have a set budget for the creative element of what you require I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. I am also happy to tender for the business of your creative needs.
Whatever your photography needs, I look forward to working with you.
I have been passionate about the outdoors for as long as I can remember. I can recall family holidays from a very young age. Hiking, scrambling, wild swimming, camping and exploring with my family. I joined the cub scouts as soon as I could and followed this up with the scouts as soon as I was old enough. Ever finding more and more reasons to be outdoors, but also learning invaluable skills for being better in the outdoors. This learning still continues to this day. My ambitions have gotten a little bigger over the years, but so has my skill set, understanding and love for the outdoors.
Photography started in my teenage years when my dad bought me a 35mm Zenit film camera. As soon as I got those first images back from the developer I was hooked. Simple pictures of landscapes, so began a whole new learning experience, another that still continues to this day.
The combination of being outdoors carrying my camera everywhere was just the perfect solution. I've been through many different sports and hobbies over the years, but I've always continued with being outdoors with my camera, it's always been there. My kit list has grown, my experience and skill set have also continued to grow. My subject matters have increased to many different categories.
But I still love being outdoors.
